Welcome FUCers to the rebranded FUC website.
After time behind the scenes rebuilding, refining and learning, FUC is back — stronger, clearer and built for long-term impact.
I’m so proud to finally share this new chapter with you. I hope you love it.
A Fresh Chapter — WHY it still matters
Although it’s been nine years since my first diagnosis, I’m still very much part of the cancer community.
I’ve only recently finished oral chemotherapy. I was placed into a chemical menopause due to high ovarian cancer risk, which meant no HRT. That comes with its own challenges — hot flushes, aching joints, disrupted sleep, mood swings, memory issues. Add to that long-term treatment effects, such as a couple of bulging discs and intense cramp.
Cancer doesn’t always end when treatment does. It evolves. It lingers. It changes shape.
And that’s something people don’t always see.
When you don’t “look ill,” people assume everything is fine. But the emotional weight — the awareness that life can shift overnight — never fully disappears.
At the end of 2024, I found another lump.
At the beginning of 2025, I was back in scans, biopsies and consultant appointments.
It wasn’t cancer. But for a moment, I was right back there.
That experience reminded me just how quickly everything can change — and why this community matters so much to me.
Through FUC, I remain connected to people going through first diagnoses, second diagnoses, third diagnoses. Some navigating treatment. Some facing recurrence. Some heartbreakingly not making it. There’s survivor’s guilt in that and an emotional weight in listening to stories and wanting to help.
But there’s also purpose.
Because even when you’ve “come out the other side,” it’s still hard. And I will always understand that.
That’s why FUC exists. Not from a distance. Not from memory. But from lived, ongoing experience.
What’s Live — And What’s Coming
Right now, you’ll see our core pieces on the site — the original staples that built FUC. But also some of our logo pieces can now be personalised — allowing you to choose colours and patterns that feel right for you.
And there’s plenty more in the pipeline. New designs. New lines. New events.
As We Relaunch
As we rebuild momentum, thank you for your patience and support. Orders will always be handled with care, and if you ever have questions — about delivery, products or personalised options — we’re completely contactable and always happy to help.
Communication matters here.
How You Can Help
Even if there’s nothing on the website for you right now, there are still plenty of ways to support FUC.
Direct donations are always incredibly appreciated — but support doesn’t only have to be financial. Ideas, introductions, skills, time and encouragement all matter just as much.
FUC simply wouldn’t exist without the generosity and backing of amazing people.
We have 2 big event ideas coming up for this year both will be loads of fun while helping raise money for a great cause. Details to follow very soon. If you’d like to get involved in one of our events, I’m always open to help — whether that’s admin support (spreadsheets are not my strongest point!), sourcing raffle prizes, organisational skills, creative ideas, or helping us connect with the right people.
FUC is a community. And when we come together, we’re stronger.
There is real strength in numbers — and standing together to show cancer that it will not stop us fighting is one of the most powerful things we can do.
